Anastasia K.: Really Real Reality
Als kunstenaar is Anastasia altijd gefascineerd geweest door de kracht van visuele vertelkunst en het vermogen van kunst om emoties en maatschappelijke thema’s op een unieke manier te communiceren. Haar werk richt zich op de interactie tussen mensen en hun omgevingen, waarbij zowel persoonlijke als universele ervaringen worden vastgelegd.
De serie Really Real Reality, die tijdens de tentoonstelling zal worden gepresenteerd, verkent de gevoelens die gepaard gaan met het settelen in een nieuw huis en weerspiegelt haar ervaringen als migrant in onbekende omgevingen. Het benadrukt ook de diverse mensen die ze gedurende het jaar heeft ontmoet. Ze presenteert een deel van dit voortdurende project en is van plan om het verder te ontwikkelen.
As an artist Anastasia has always been fascinated by the power of visual storytelling and the ability of art to communicate emotions and social themes in a unique way. Her work focuses on the interaction between humans and their environments, capturing both personal and universal experiences. The series Really Real Reality, which will be showcased during the exhibition, explores the feeling of settling into a new home and her experiences as a migrant in unfamiliar surroundings. It also reflects the people she met over the course of a year. She presents a part of this ongoing project and plans to develop it further.

Openingstijden / Opening hours
Westerkadekunst is tijdens exposities geopend van vrijdag t/m zondag, van 12 tot 17 uur. Het is mogelijk om buiten deze tijden een afspraak te maken.
Westerkadekunst is open during expositions from Friday to Sunday, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. If you would like to visit outside these hours, it is possible to make an appointment.
